What You’ll Do
Verifying vehicles and repairs to be performed.
Examines and inspects vehicle integrity, including panels, wheels, previous repair work, paint color and texture, etc
Records noted imperfections and/or damage and reviews with supervisor, developing an action plan for vehicle repair
Repairing and/or replacing damaged panels or other body components as directed.
Setting an example for safety and health procedures.
Works with supervisor and technicians to understand required parts, supplies, and materials,
Communicates with procurement to acquire necessary parts, supplies, and materials if not in stock,
Tracks, receives, inventories and distributes parts/supplies in a timely manner,
Maintains shop supply inventory at acceptable levels.
Investigates and addresses technical and/or process issues.
Alerts estimators and/or management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are
You’re a master craftsperson. You’re not bothered by a busy, noisy body shop; in fact, that’s where you thrive. Requirements include:
Minimum:
5+ years of experience of collision repair. Journeyman Auto Body Technician
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Preferred:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Respirator fit test certificate.
1+ years of customer service experience is preferred.
